My husband and I just got back from a stay at Kentucky Dam Village State Park. I booked a lodge room but was given a 1 BR cottage instead and all the lodge rooms were booked. The cottage was badly in need of updating and looked tired. Our bedroom carpet had a large patch in the middle of the floor... More

We spent a Sunday night here to break up a trip across a few states. We love the Kentucky Park Lodges and this was no exception. Bed was comfortable and the showerhead and water pressure were strong. Only comment to the negative was that the comforter, curtains, furniture and carpet did not match. All were clean and in good shape... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. State park lodging is usually a favorite of mine because the rooms are usually older and roomier. The room I stayed in had been modernized, and it was lovely. Being at the lake was a bonus too, very relaxing. It was a good place to be for wanderings around Paducah and Southern Illinois. The... More

Just got back from 3 nights at the park.....the staff was very accommodating and the room was very nice.....all of the rooms face the lake and had either a balcony or patio.....everything was very clean....in reading the reviews some said the rooms need to be up-dated....we didn't think this was the case....the furnishings were modest ....bathrooms up-dated....loved our stay!!!!! KY State Parks used to be the jewel of the Nations's Parks, but unfortunately are in disrepair and need urgent care. The employees do the best they can with what they have to work with. More

We have stayed here in the winter a couple of times and its always great. They have raised the winter price a bit from the last time , $59.00 including tax. Still a bargain for such a nice place. More

In looking for a new place to take our yearly visits with the 11 person family, we started with KY Dam Village and Marina. The cottages at the village are great. We got 2 next to each other (said they would try but couldn't promise) and it worked perfect. There were a few ants in one of the cottages, but... More

My parents, my wife, and I stayed the evening of 11/18 as we were in town for a convention. We stayed at Village Green. The State park is nice. Our room was 173 and was dated. If you don't mind the room being older, it was nice and very clean. $53 per night was well worth the value. The only... More

Just-a-lil_birdy --- Thank you so much for your review of our Harbor Lights Restaurant! Of course we agree we have a "gem" here. Often it is overlooked by folks visiting the area.
