Stayed on federal contracting business for 5 nights during the third wk of May, 2012. Only problems were late arriving daily housekeeping at ca. 4 PM while room was vacated each morning at predawn. Laptop suddenlty & unexpectedly down after 2 yrs. of reliability, forcing me to use the desk top in the business center for premium rate of $5.99... More

I stayed here for 1 night on a weekend getaway over Memorial Day weekend. I think the definite pros are the location, the staff and the comfy beds. This hotel is right next to 4th Street Live and appeared to be in the heart of downtown. My husband and I also walked to the Sluggar Museum which was an easy... More

Be aware you have to pay for parking and most other amenities. Not my first choice for a downtown Louisville hotel. More

I stayed at this hotel for a week while attending a conference in KY. The lobby/restaurant was just renovated and looks good. The rooms however need some work. Not awful just a little old so if they focus on that next the hotel would be great all around. Also, the cost for breakfast was a little high especially in a... More

Spent one night in May for a business trip. Hotel had just completed a renovation of the common area. Beautiful. Rooms had been done some time ago. Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They offered to print my boarding pass for the next day and asked my preference for a high or low floor. I was in... More

I was here in May for 5 days for a conference. This is IDEAL for conferences/meetings. This must be known, because the place was busy everyday with meetings/conferences/workshops. Next door to Fourth Street Live and various restaurants, and also the Visitor's Center. The layout is open concept, so you can see to the top of the ceiling and all the... More

Stayed at this hotel for the Kentucky Derby weekend. The renovated lobby area was modern and spacious, a drinks reception greeted us on arrival, the beds were incredibly comfortable and it is in a very convenient location right in the middle of the city so it was easy to wander out for a walk/drink/meal etc. However, the best thing about... We stayed at this Hyatt the weekend before the Derby, so the prices were very reasonable. Great location right downtown, you could walk to 4th Street Live, the Seelbach for a cocktail at their charming funky bar, a choice of two Starbucks, the Taste of Kentucky shop for a giant bourbon cake, and the Louisville Slugger Museum if you need... This hotel was recently renovated .... It is like a new hotel with an absolutely great location. Forget the Brown and the Steilbach Hilton. Great great service. Ask for Jean at their luxury bar, she rocks. Very quiet rooms. Wonderful conference facilities. More

Stayed at this hotel during the weekend of the Kentucky Derby. This hotel is staffed with the most amazing people! They truly go above and beyond to help their guests. I realized when I arrived at the airport that I left my wallet in my room. I called and spoke with Angie at the front desk. She printed my boarding... More
