My boyfriend booked a room with a river view for the Blues Fest. It was so convenient to everything, we never used the car the whole weekend. The sunset that night from our room was beautiful. More

I stayed here for for three days for LMSA conference and had a view of the Mississippi River and the swimming pool. I valet parked my car and never used my car again until it was time to leave. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Little Village (Italian) was delicious, as was a hole in the wall pizza joint... More

This hotel is situated right on the Mississippi River. Try to get a river view room so you can enjoy the view of the Mississippi bridge and the river. We stayed there for a conference and the meeting rooms and banquet rooms are very nice. There is a bar, a restaurant, gift shop and coffee shop. The staff and valet... More

Wonderful old hotel and restraunt. The breakfast buffet may have been THE BEST I have ever had. The man making omletes and pancakes knew his stuff and the fruit was perfect everyday! The pool and the river view made this a perfect place to watch the sunset. Went to the bar only once and the bartender was nice and the... More

Thank you so much for choosing the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center for your stay in Baton Rouge! We are so glad you enjoyed the buffet, and Mr. Wayne is the best omelet and pancake maker in the area by far! We do have one of the best sunset views in Baton Rouge. When you come back look into one... More

Recently stayed there for a business meeting and the rooms were updated but small. Thought I'd requested a king, but no kings. Had our meeting sthere as well and the meeting rooms were fine, although very cold. the conf food was just OK. The lobby lounge was quite nice and the service was outstanding. Ideally located right downtown Baton Rouge,... More

Thank you so much for choosing the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center for your meeting and overnight accommodations. I am sorry your sleeping room was smaller than expected, but it is one of our hotels charms of being built in the late 1920's. I am sorry your meeting space was cold, please let one of our banquet staff members know... More

One of those old hotels, renovated, with old school 60s classy charm. I liked it, but may not be to everybodys taste. Room are a little small, but very comfortable bed and showers. Highlight of the hotel was the pool which overlooks the Mississippi, nice outdoor area to lounge around and read a book, or go for a swim. Service... More

This is my favorite business hotel in Baton Rouge. I've stayed 4-5 times in the past year. It is quiet (much, much quieter than any of the business hotels closer to the interstate) and is clean and comfortable. The staff are nice and the location is both beautiful and convenient. More

I'm a Honors Gold so we were updated to corner room (partial river view), breakfast & drinks. Also, to save money I used some points to pay for the hotel. Location was good - we overlooked some of the sights & the river. Close to restaurants & bars. Pool overlooks the Mississippi. I enjoyed this area. **BUT, too many smokers... More

PinkSurvivor - I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Hilton Capitol Center. Our hotel has a 100% smoke free policy with the exception to our smoking oasis. It is a designated area on our pool deck for smokers. This designated area allows smokers to enjoy the beautiful view of the Mississippi River, but also gives them a... More

Great location! Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms are nice enough. But for the money...you would think it would be better. Bathrooms in particular just don't feel updated or clean. It's not bad, it's not great. But it was ok. More

I am so sorry your stay didn’t meet your expectations. Our hotel was originally built in the 1920s, so there are many unique, historic aspects of the property. One constraint we were faced with when we completely renovated and reopened in 2006 was the size of our guest rooms. Unfortunately, they are smaller than what is expected of hotels built... More
