“Great hotel at an affordable rate”

My wife and I stayed 2 nights during the International Festival and really had a great stay! The hotel offered everything that we wanted at a very affordable rate. I don't understand why this Wingate is considered the fourth best hotel in Lafayette by Trip Advisor, when it is mediocre at best. The bathroom was dirty- looked liked hadn't been cleaned in a while. Room was average. More

I'm really glad we drove a little off the interstate to stay here. It was a nicer area and the hotel is relatively new. Very clean, comfortable beds and the rooms were quite large! We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Lafayette. The Wingate was spotless, the people at the front desk were very helpful, and the 5:00 happy hour was a very nice addition. We would definitely choose to stay here again. More

The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. I did not feel claustophobic as I could lounge in the chair and read without having to be in bed. There was an internet connection on the desk.
