The location is great -- it's just a few miles from the French Quarter in New Orleans and far cheaper than the hotels in and around the Quarter. We had a very comfortable room. Breakfast was good and there was a nice selection. I would definitely stay there again. More

The Comfort Inn website says this is a "newly opened" property. That's a stretch, but it's still newer and nicer than many hotels in the area. This hotel is 2-yrs old and fairly well maintained. My first non-smoking room #111 smelled like smoke, had burn holes and spilled drinks in carpet. Staff was gracious and replacement room was handicap accessible, clean and like new.
