Have to agree with Yandinagirl - if you want a Best Western go stay in one. This place was old - that's what we wanted but it wasn't dirty. Enjoyed the courtyard, the kitties on the roof, wonderful breakfasts and hospitalable hosts.

This is our second stay here - the first time was 20 years ago.
This place is still great - traditional Louisiana atmosphere in a lovely old town, classic rooms, lovely courtyard. What a relaxing place to stay! And the excellent complimentary morning breakfast consists of regional breakfast items. Innkeepers are friendly and very helpful.
We look forward to our...

To honestly rate this B & B is tricky because everyone has different perceptions. My "very good" rating is based on our own hopes and expectations.
We wanted an original experience, not a motel room on the highway and this Inn certainly gave us that.
The house is a classic and the rooms are all in keeping with the character...

We loved the St. Francisville Inn and St Francisville itself. The inn is welcoming and cozy and everyone is nice. The wine bar makes it possible to enjoy a glass of fine wine when you're in for the evening. Breakfast is the best we've had when we travel. Since we miss our pets when we travel the resident cats are...

We had been trying to get into the St. Francisville Inn for a while and was so excited when we got a room and was able to snag the Jacuzzi Room. The house itself is beautiful, they have a bar you can order a drink from and go sit out in the beautiful courtyard or enjoy rocking on the front...

I would describe this as a great little mid-range inn. Not a luxury inn. We enjoyed our stay very much. On the whole, it has slightly run-down feel to it, which I found charming and perfectly fine at this price level.
The building and garden we found very quaint. Lovely atmosphere with all that spanish moss. Lots of quirky little...

If you are looking for true southern hospitality, the key to making world class home cooked grits and a glass of wine on the front porch swing of a charming Victorian Home, look no further than the St. Francisville Inn. The owners, Pat and Laurie Walsh are warm and friendly and always approachable for information about the community and surrounding...

We had a delightful family reunion at the St. Francisville Inn bed & breakfast. Our queen room was very clean, quaint and comfortable. My wife usually does not sleep well when away, but she had no problem here. We found the St. Francisville Inn an ideal place for our family meeting, with plenty of areas for all to gather, wine...

This is a $20 a night flea motel calling it's a B&B. We stayed in Room 4 at the end of November 2011. The pictures of the pool are misleading as it's closed for painting and repair, but looks like it's been closed for years! The entranceway to the rooms where the guests stay lead you past the junk shed...

We had another great stay at the St Francisville Inn. We have been going for years. Pat, Laurie, and Shirley are like family to us. Great bar, cheap beer, and a huge breakfast with a spotless room. What more could you ask for!
