I dislike it when people exaggerate how bad something is, it prevents people from staying at much cheaper places that arn't that bad. Travelodge Bangor is one of those. It was clean. The bed was comfortable though a bit soft. The shower was fine and so was the toilet. TV worked fine. Carpet was surprisingly clean! Some fixtures in the... More

Halfway between Boston and our destination in Canada, Bangor seemed like an ideal place to stop. The price was also right. The exterior looked rather run-down but the manager was welcoming. Check in was very speedy as the booking had been secured and paid in advance through 'Hotels.Com'. The room was functional but rather shabby and would certainly benefit from... More

This place is a dive. No customer service. There were hairs in our bed. We had to get new sheets and change them ourselves. The room smelled horrible. The only response we got from the staff was are we going to check out? The door also had been broken into in the past and they had not fixed it. Worse... More

We were in a room where you could see out through the side of the door while it was shut in the middle of winter in Maine. We slept terrible as the high way goes right beside it and you could hear every vehicle as they went along. The people below us decided at 1am to have a party that... More

I have stayed there a couple of times now and it is not a very good hotel. This stay I was booked in a King room and when I got there was told the TV was really fuzzy so I took the room with 2 double beds. Funny thing was the tv in this room was fuzzy as well. I... More

Picked this hotel as it was all that was available we usually stay closer to the mall. Was clean and fine for a night. Never a fan of the split bathroom ( sink in main room ..toilet and tub behind closed door) .. not sure why some chains do this as it just leaves both areas cramped and less private.... More

This Travelodge isn't a horrible place in general, it's very cheap and most people get what they pay for. My last stay was really horrible, though. It had only been about 3 years since my last stay and it felt like the place aged 20 years, the curtains were broken, the toilet paper holder was held on with tape. The... More
