We stay at BMI at least once a year to take advantage of their park n fly. The cost of the room is usually cheaper (or close) than parking at the Bangor Airport anyhow, and the BMI offers a pretty good continental breakfast. The rooms are partially outdated, but they are very clean, and the beds are comfy. We stayed... More

Stayed here after everywhere else was full. Ladies at front desk very friendly and helpful. This is the end of the positives! We arrived to the room which was dated like it was the 50s. My pillow had a brown mark which I hoped was chocolate. Swapped it for one off the other bed and tried to remain positive. The.... More

When we arrived the room must have been 37 degrees C (99 degrees F.) There was a wall thermostat and a fan switch (winter or summer,) neither of which worked. The TV was a 20" color. I went to the office to report the problem, because the phone didn't work, and was told how to turn off the heat. I... More

After driving across the US from Ontario, we stopped here for the night before going onto New Brunswick. It was late and we were tired. This was the most disgustingly dirty place we have ever stayed!!! The corridors were smelly and rough. The room was fairly spacious, BUT, the sheets and pillow slips were dirty! We could smell the previous... More

Stopping at my favored motel chain I was told they were full and they suggested I go to the Bangor Motor Inn as they had a few rooms available. Luckily they had a first floor room available as I was traveling with an elderly person. This motor inn is located near a large mall and was packed with tour bus... More

The room was shabby, the door was insecure, the bed was uncomfortable, no alarm clock, the bathroom fixtures barely worked, it smelled bad, we found food remnants on the floor, the room was very noisy -- but bugs in the bed make it completely unacceptable. I'm not an entomologist or a pest control specialist, but when you go to bed... More

While driving from Halifax to Boston we decided to stop over night with no reservation. They had a room which was great. Service was excellent but the beds sure could use an upgrade in to the 2000's. (Mattresses were very old and torn) Very clean room and a great breakfast with plenty to eat and well priced. More
