The Inn at Bath was the first of the seven inns or guesthouses that I stayed in during a meandering drive up the mid-coast of Maine from Portland to Bar Harbor. Elizabeth, the owner, is helpful and friendly and the house is wonderfully designed and maintained in that "Maine Inn" kind of way. I stayed in the large room at... More

We stayed here with relatives for a class reunion and we really liked it. Our relatives checked in for us so all we had to do was show up. We were delighted to have the room with the Jacuzzi tub and took full advantage of it. Also it happened to be a very rainy summer night, so we slept with... More

We stayed at the Inn at Bath during our 2-week motorcycle tour of NE/Canada. It proved to be a great stop-over for 1 night as we made our way northward. The Inn at Bath excels on hospitality and provides a superb fit-focused, cooked-to-order breakfast. We loved the 2-room suite that we booked, which was perfect for a family traveling together.... The Inn at Bath is an excellent experience. Beautiful old building that has been very well maintained and updated. Elizabeth, the innkeeper is a real breath of fresh air. Lots of energy and efficiency but not too much in your presence. Likewise the interiors are free of the dreaded B&B knick knacks. A really pleasant place, nicely run, with an... More

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and sadly Elizabeth and the Inn at Bath have ruined it for all the other bed and breakfasts' out there. From the moment we walk in until we left we felt right at home. The house is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The fo'c'sle and captains cabin are... More

The Inn at Bath is everything you could want in a B&B. We stayed during February, and had a great time. Elizabeth is warm and runs this inn beautifully. Our room was clean and spacious, we loved the jacuzzi and fireplace. We were offered tea, and welcomed into the sitting room with a toasty fireplace shortly after checking in. Our... More

The perfect cozy Maine inn! I went for a local wedding and fell in love with this beautiful, friendly, authentic home. The homemade breakfast is served in the most charming dining room, no detail left undone. The rooms arevadorable and each has a distinct color or theme. The location is very central to all sites. Makes you feel at home... More

We stayed two nights. We loved the house and its decoration. Breakfast was good. We had the Green Room and the four poster bed was a first for us. The bathroom was as big as some hotel rooms! The architecture in Bath is very interesting. Well worth the visit.

My wife and I had a night away, and we were able to secure a reservation at the Inn at Bath. The inn itself is gorgeous -- beautiful period detail on the build-ins particularly stood out, plus fantastic sitting rooms. We were in the Captain's Room -- a new jacuzzi tub and a wood-burning fireplace made for a wonderful, romantic... More

We spent two nights at this Inn. Our Captain's Cabin was comfortable, and we were provided wine bucket, glasses, and opener. Breakfasts were tasty. Loved the jacuzzi, very relaxing after long, but scenic drives. Elizabeth was a great host, and had many good recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area. Glad we stayed here.
