We spent three nights at the Kennebec Inn in early October. Rachel and the inn definitely lived up to all the reviews. The inn is impeccably kept and our accommodations in the Captain Perkins room were defintiely wonderful. A nice large room with a king bed plus a twin bed if needed. It was nice to make our luggage disappear... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night visit here. The owner, Rachel, was extremely gracious and helpful and the house was large, comfortable and immaculately kept. The traditional New England house is also centrally located near lots and lots of areas to explore, very reasonably priced and the breakfasts were delicious, varied and decadent (3 courses every morning)!!... We greatly enjoyed our experience staying at the Kennebec Inn. Breakfasts were amazing and we really enjoyed having spirited, entertaining and informative discussions with the other guests each morning at breakfast. All surrounding absolutely incredible offerings of baked-from-scratch goodness. Couldn't have been better. Our room was very comfortable and private. The location is central to downtown Bath with entertainment and... More

We enjoyed a perfect three night night stay at the Kennebec Inn. The America's Cup room is immaculatly clean, roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Polished hardwood floors, crisp white linens on a romantic four posted bed, and a sparkling white tiled bath with plush towels exceeded my expectations for this reasonably priced B&B. Breakfast was very nicely homemade and deliciously... More

This B&B is beautifully decorated with bright, airy, spacious rooms. Linens and towels were fine and plush. We stayed two nights and each morning breakfast was quite good. Rachel, the innkeeper is a gracious hostess who is warm and friendly. The inn is walking distance to downtown historic Bath and a 1 mile walk through a lovely neighborhood to the... More

We stayed at the Kennebec Inn in Bath for a few days during the Bowdoin Music Festival, just down the road in Brunswick. This wonderful place sets the standard for Bed and Breakfasts everywhere. It's picture perfect, and our room (the Remington Room) was a beautifully appointed tranquil space, with rustic charm and a tantalizing view over the grounds at... More

Lovely house and rooms, clean and comfortable. Fantastic gourmet breakfast made by the charming and informative hostess, and the perfect location from which to take day-trips up and down the Maine coast. Our original reservation was for one night and we stayed four--highly recommend!
