I recently stayed in the upstairs "suite" above the check in area. This is a great unit if you are looking for something with a little more space than your standard hotel/motel room. There are 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a spacious living room area with bunk beds. Three of my friends and I have been to Bethel the last... More

Like the name, it was a Really Outstanding STAY. The room was exceptionally clean. We liked the hidden refrigerator in the night table. The breakfast was outstanding. Price was reasonable compared to other lodging in the area. Very convenient for access to Sunday River. We had a great stay. Very comfortable and relaxing. The one and only change we would... More

The Inn is located on the main road to Sunday River. Main house is the "lobby", which doubles as a breakfast room and a quilt shop. Upstairs is the "dorm" style housing. The Main house is surrounded by a series of motel rooms. The rooms are simple and kind of small. The decor is wood, with a few quilts. The... More

We spent a weekend skiing at Sunday River and chose the Rostay over other motels and inns in the area simply because they had a hot tub. Had we actually known how mediocre the hot tub was, we probably would have stayed elsewhere. That said... the service was fantastic, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect... More

We are skiiers so it could not be more convenient to Sunday River. We stay in the larger delux motel rooms which offer a microwave and oversized minifridge. When we come up it is for at least a week of skiing and found that very handy when you get tired of eating out (though Bethel as a wonderful array of restaurants... Stayed for a ski week with my brother and some friends. Sweet place, clean, and super friendly. The free shuttle bus is convenient plus. More

I stayed here with my team for some ski races and it was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was good. They have a wax room for prepping skis which was really helpful. It's a convenient location for skiers, about 5 minutes from Sunday River and a half hour from Black Mountain. There was nothing extraordinary about... More

Just doing a little retro-advising as it's -30 out, dark, cold and time for catch up on reviews. Stayed at the Inn at the Rostay many, many times over about an 8 year period, and was always treated like one of the family. Be sure to ask about the name! No "Para ingles, presione numero dos" in this reservation "process".... More

We had two rooms in the motor court section of the hotel. The room decorations made these Californians feel like we had arrived in New England, charming. The rooms are older, smallish hotel size but well maintained and clean. The owner is friendly, helpful and also charming. For it's kind of lodging, it's well done. We think this is the... More
