My gentleman friend and I love to stay here. We are neither golfers or skiers but we find the Inn so charming,--love "our room" in the old part of the Inn, and enjoy the general ambiance of that part of the Inn. We have been there several times in the last year and find the staff so helpful and they... More

This was our first stay at the Bethel Inn Resort the week-end of May 18-to-20, 2012. Based upon the recommendation of a friend, we came for the two day Golf School which included PGA Golf Pro instructions as part of their "Guaranteed Improvement Program". I must say our Golf Pro was a great teacher, knowledgeable, patient and thorough. He also... More

This is our first time to this part of Maine. Our 2 bedroom townhouse at the Bethel Inn was just what we were hoping for. The Inn is very old (early 1900's) and rustic but beautifully maintained and has lots of interesting history. There is tennis, indoor/outdoor pool, spa, golf and cross country skiing on a huge number of trails.... More

I returned to the Bethel Inn for the first time in over ten years and it's still pretty much the same as before, warm, cosy, and a bit worn. We stayed in a suite which was nicely appointed, clean, with lots of room, and a very comfortable bed. Our favorite thing about the Bethel is the Health Center and the... More

I did a six day stretch in the bottom half of one of the townhomes with a fellow skier while attending an event at Sunday River. This was sold to me over the phone as "one of their nicest accomodations." I took the bait and ended up getting taken. The "townhome" was the bottom half of a townhouse which was... More

A bit tired looking. We had a nice room at end of hall- 2 room suite. Bed was two twins shoved together. Furniture was worn. Front desk people were quite nice. Breakfast buffet was quite good. But avoid the Millbrook Tavern downstairs. I'm not a fussy eater, but it was perhaps the worst restaurant meal that I can ever remember.... More

We have stayed at the Bethel Inn all four seasons of the year and each time.....it is a great experience! From the hike up Step Falls in October... to the sleigh ride and Nordic Womens Day in January.... to the walk around town in spring like temperatures in March, ......or to the golfing and biking, fishing, and swimming in the... We have stayed here for years. We always have brunch in the inn and enjoy it thoroughly. Our time share is in the fairway condos and we always enjoy our time with our sons and their families. We look forward to this time every year. More

Old , tired and unclean - this place needs a total make over. Upgraded room what a joke. Cheap bedding, broken lamps and dirty very dirty room. The pool covered with a film of some kind-again not a clean enviornment at all. Day bed with used sheets in the hall outside our door for 3 days. I pushed it down... More
