We booked a room labeled "romantic getaway" with a jacuzzi tub as one of the "attention getters" as well as a bottle of wine, flowers and chocolate. The only "attention getter" that we were disappointed in was the tub. As a "romantic getaway" we assumed that we would be able to enjoy the jacuzzi together......wrong! Only large enough for one... Next time I think I'd stay at a B & B in this area. Not much selection to choose from as far as hotels in the area. Within walking distance to the grocery store, movie theatre, restaurants and the YMCA. The beds are not very comfortable. The shower heads need replaced. The breakfast in the morning consists of: Juice, coffee,... More

We returned to the Flagship Inn for this past Easter Weekend. We have stayed here in the height of the busy season and in the off season. The service and the rooms are always consistent. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable and the Staff is always helpful. When staying here do not expect lots of frills. You do... More

I stayed here 1 night and if I was staying longer I would have to have moved. My room (#249) stank so badly of old smoke that all my clothes that I wore or had on top of my suitcase while in that room, now also smell of smoke and need washing. I arrived there after a long day of... More

I wanted to Thank you for some of the nice things that you said about the Flagship Inn. It was disappointing to hear about your room experience however. Had you alerted us to the problem, we would have immediately moved you to another room. The last thing we want is for any of our guests to be unhappy with their... More

The Flagship Inn is a bit expensive for what it is. What it is is a middle-grade two story motel with large rooms a refrigerator, microwave ... all that one expects in such an establishment. It seems clean and well maintained. The sound insulation is not super, I could hear conversations in the neighboring room. The breakfast was quite basic,... More

I arrived at the flagship Sunday night after the blizzard in February we didn't give the staff a lot of notice that we were coming due to the weather.... The plans were kind of up in the air however the exceptionally friendly staff had a room available for me on very short notice it was clean and in good order... More

The hotel was very clean, modern with excellent amenities. The front desk made it easy to check in & check out. It's very close to town, & there's an excellent restaurant next door, Mr. C's...one of the few restaurants in Boothbay Harbor that is open in the Winter. Everybody bent over backwards to make my stay pleasant. ALL the staff... More

I stayed at the Flagship Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, January 20-22, 2013. The room was very, very comfortable; I think they have recently (i.e., in the last year) redecorated. The mattresses were excellent, also new-ish, I think. Complimentary bath toiletries very nice. Housekeeping service excellent. Front desk service friendly, solicitous, excellent. Used the computer in the lobby to check... More

We stayed in the Flagship over Christmas week this year (2012). I have traveled extensively on business so I know what I should expect. This is a Motel and not a 5 star hotel, yet the service was on par with any high end hotel I have ever stayed in. Imagine my shock to go out for breakfast on Christmas... More
