We booked this hotel via an opaque booking site, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel offers free wi-fi, parking, and continental breakfast. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. If you are passing through the Brunswick area, or interested in visiting Orr and Bailey Island, consider staying the night at the Parkwood... More

We stayed on Saturday and Sunday, February 25th and 26th on reservations booked thru Pirceline.com. The original booking was for Friday and Saturday but the folks at the Hotel allowed the change, no questions asked. We checked in at 10:30 in the evening and the clerk was very helpful at that hour with information about the hotel and the area.... More

Great Hotel! Excellent service! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a 2 night getaway or good old traveling! The rooms are very spacious which is nice since I always pack way too much when I travel. The staff is VERY friendly and will accomadate you to whatever type of stay you wish. We just got back from staying at the Parkwood Inn for an extended time, and it was a fabulous stay. It is a great place for anyone travelling for business or leisure, but if you are looking to stay somewhere for a while (like we were since we were searching for an apartment), I would definitely recommend the Parkwood. All... More

First let me say, as a seasoned traveler I am in good standing to leave this review. There maybe was something Grand about this hotel a few years ago, judging by the 2010 and previous award stickers on the buildings entrance doors. This 3 day hotel stay was the worst hotel experience of my life. Firstly the hotel was undergoing... More

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for providing feedback, and that I am sorry your recent stay was unpleasant. While our hotel is undergoing some rennovations and we work hard to ensure it does not disrupt our guests stay. The showers and mold you mentioned have since been cleaned, and the rennovations, when done, will take... More

We recently stayed at the Parkwood Inn in Brunswick and were pleasently surprised at what a lovely little hotel this was. We were actually not planning on staying in the Brunswick area, but our vehicle broke down and we needed to find a place to stay. We lucked out!! The entire staff went out of their way to help us... We were touring Oar and Bailey Island and needed a place for the nigght. The island rooms were booked so we tried the Parkwood. It was clean and nice. The fireplace was not even on and heated the entire room which was not the best as it was a warm weekend. We ended up needing the a/c to counter it.... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback! I am thoroughly glad your recent stay was enjoyable! It is true we are only a few miles from the small Islands that make up Harpswell, which makes us a good location to base many area activities from. I hope you get the chance to come back to... More

Came in from out of state to enjoy Christmas with the entire family. We decided to stay at the Parkwood for our family gathering. Big mistake!!! The staff was rude to our family and made it very uncomfortabl throughout our stay. The event coordinator (Tammy) was the least professional and lacked customer service! As a teacher we teach kids to... More

Our recent stay at the Parkwood was anything but pleasant. The staff was rude and unprofessional. We had planned a family reunion function that was met with an inflexible, hostile staff. The function room had no heat and we had to clean the room oursleves. The hotel rooms were old and dated, mold in the bathrooms, wall paper torn on... More
