We've been renting at Point Sebago going on 4 years and love it. My 5 and 6 year old boys have been asking all winter long when we are going to our house at the lake:) This year we've got our brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces renting 3 other units the same week and we can't wait to hang out... Point Sebago touts themselves as an "outdoor resort". But the only thing that feels like a resort are the costs. It is unique for sure and I spent several years taking a week each year and renting until I bought and owned a unit on leased land for about 5 years. Did we have fun? Absolutely. But, I no longer... Well, they made up for the bad experience we had, they replaced the bar manager! Michelle was attentive and made sure we were happy. Things seemed more relaxed this year, in past years security was everywhere, this year we hardly saw them. Our cabins were as clean as could be. Two things I wish they would bring back, daily trash... More

Carnival Night was a joke - nothing more than a couple of bouncy houses and overpriced carnival games - a naked attempt to make money by Point Sebago. $15 for a 3 second zip line trip. Almost $400 for 2 nights in an old beat up trailer. Mattress covers were ancient, old dried up candy on the floor, dusty ancient... More

We went to Point Sebago with extended family for four nights near the end of August. I have to say, we had fun. We participated in a lot of the activities and many family members won t-shirts. The weather was gorgeous and we got a lot of sun and plenty of time in the water. I would agree with the... More

I've heard of Sebago and saw a deal on TravelZoo. $108 a night with a $50 a day food credit. Sounded like a great weekend getaway to end the summer. I booked a Saturday to Monday stay. This was in May. In August we found out about a Pop Warner mandatory weigh in. We couldn't change our reservations so we... More

We have stayed at this resort two years in a row. They have lots of activities for young children. My kids are 3 & 5 and they can go to a onsite camp for free to give mom and dad a much needed break. I would recomend cooking your own food because the resteraunts onsite are mediocre at best and... More

We've been back less than a week from our 3 night getaway. I have to say, I keep thinking about this as one of the great times I've had on vacation in recent memory. My only complaint would be that the young people they hire have a little more knowledge about the activities, and some need to be a little... More

Having gone on a traditional vacation with my two kids (15 and 13) last winter and being driven crazy by them 24/7 I decided to look for a resort in which we could do things together as well as do our own thing at times. We booked a cottage through a private owner on the VRBO site - only $1100... More
