First off, I appreciated the upgrade given to me and my girlfriend who was starting her first chemo session a few days after our stay. The hotel didn't look like the pictures on the website on the outside - it looked a little tired and in need of a coat of paint. It is never pretty to look at rusty... More

A group of cousins frequently plan one night or weekend getaways. One couple had been here before and suggested an overnight for the four couples. Since it was a winter weekend, the Inn was not crowded. It appeared that there were only 2 other couples staying there. We were thrilled with this, as we took over the inviting lobby by... More

Went for a short overnight excursion and was very pleased with the whole experience. The exterior of The Beach House is beginning to show some wear but the inside was clean, neat, and well-appointed. Rooms were clean with plenty of room. With windows open you could hear the waves from the beach across the road. Breakfast was unremarkable. It is... More

I was driving along the shore of Maine , I saw this little place and decided to stay for a night , it is pricy for the room , but the atmosphere and the location is really special , you can sit in-front of the sea and relax. Take your breakfast in the terrace , and just take it easy.... More

We had a nice stay in Kennebunk but the hotel and room could have some improvements made. Our check in experience wasn't the most thorough and bits of information like when breakfast was served in the morning or when wi e & cheese in the afternoon was served weren't told to us. The hallway leading to our room had bleach... More

Just down the road from it's sister property the White Barn Inn, but miles away in terms of quality and service. A very young inexperienced staff trys hard, but they appear to be the second team. rooms are clean but outdated and overpriced compared to comparable properties. Tean and breakfast were nice, but nothing special.

Great location, lovely staff, clean and comfortable surroundings. The cookies in the afternoon hit teh spot. Fairly priced as this area is expensive in the summer. Been 4 times and always happy. Lovely porch with rockers so I did not spend extra for an ocean view room. Small damaged tile in the bathroom fixed by the hotel before we departed.

It was the second stop of our trip, I selected ocean view room on third floor. While we know that Keenebunkport is a premium price location, you expect to get quality for the money they charge. While the room itself, bed etc. was clean and of good of good quality, the A/C wall and window units are outdated and very... More

The Beach House is a great place to stay. Sure, there are minor things to nitpick, but the location, the classy environs, professional staff and perks all made it worth it. There are other places to stay in Kennebunk, and they are worth exploring...but this place definitely in the top three in the area. Sit out on the front porch... More

My husband and I spent two nights at The Beach House during our first visit to Maine in early June. We loved it! It was comfortable, bright, cheery, nicely removed from town (about a mile down the road) and had great seaside walking right out the front door. One thing that surprised us was that there was a road smack... More
