“As Comfortable as Home”

We are a family that was in the middle of a move overseas. We needed a place to stay for a little more than a week. After a quick tour of the Whitetail Inn our choice was made. More like a home than a hotel. We checked into the family room which consisted of two rooms and an adjoining bathroom.... More

“Very Nice Inn”

We have stayed at the Whitetail Inn on several occasions when visiting our son at school in Maine. It's a very nice place to stay with all the comforts of home. Our rooms and bathrooms were very clean and neat. I will coming back to stay for a third time in May. The owner was very nice and accomodating.

From Fairfax to Lincoln, that's quite the change! We're glad you have enjoyed your stay. Best of luck to your son in all of his academic affairs! More

Over all "the Whitetail Inn" was very comfortable. We travel to Northern Maine a lot and in the winter there is nothing worse then checking into a chilly room. The Whitetail Inn is a great value if you're planning a stay in Lincoln, ME. Our room was recently renovated, clean, well appointed, and welcoming. Glenn is a great innkeeper and host. You can't go wrong staying at the Whitetail Inn.

The Whitetail Inn was a very nice place to stay. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and had a microwave, mini frig, flat screen tv and king size bed. The staff and owner were very friendly and accomodating. When traveling through this part of Maine we will plan to stay here again.

2 long days of work and travel ( 18 hrs each day) landed a co-worker and myself in Lincoln,ME at 10 PM on a Sat night with 3 places to choose from. While we can't spend millions like our larger counterparts on a fancy slogan like "We'll keep the light on for you," we can still, and certainly do, continue to keep our lights on for our guests. The owner was kind and gracious even at 1:00am when we arrived without reservations. The other hotel in town was closed with all the lights out and no attendant to be found. We were travelling through Maine late at night and couldn't drive any further....we pulled over after midnight. The town looked completely black. The GPS directed us to Whitetail Inn where a light was still on. We couldn't have asked for a nicer welcome. The room was spotless and picture perfect. We will make it a habit of stopping in here...
