16 Beach was highly recommended to us, and we are happy we could make it a part of our vacation destinations. It was one of the highlights of our trip to MA and NH and ME. The owners make you feel like you are a local and part of their family. We hugged and promised to return. Their "HOME" is... More

Consistent with the compliments and praises on Trip Advisor, Linda and Dick Wickert were the ideal hosts during our recent visit to 16 Beach Street. Engaging, helpful and maintaining just the right amount of presence they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. 16 Beach Street is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The breakfasts were beautifully presented,... More

My wife and I love our stay at 16 Beach Street. We have stayed multiple time since 2009. We love the atmosphere, food, and comfort of the B&B. Linda and Dick welcome you with open arms and are very knowledgeable about the surrounding restaurants and services. Staying at 16 Beach Street is like going home without all the drama.

Once again my husband and I returned to 16 Beach Street B&B for our annual trip to Ogunquit. We stayed for five days (Monday to Friday) and as always we were impressed with the accommodations. This year we chose to stay in the Mary Harrington Room - what a beautifully decorated room and immaculately clean. Linda has added a few... More

I found 16 Beach St online and it was just what my wife and I wanted. The Hattie Nagle room looked beautiful and the b & b was centrally located. My wife and I love to walk and we could park our car and not use it again until we were leaving after our stay. We booked two nights but... More

We stayed at 16 Beach Street over Labor Day weekend 2012 for 3 nights and would absolutely return! Dick & Linda are extremely welcoming and generous--not to mention Linda's amazing breakfasts! I quickly scouted out a favorite spot for reading, sipping wine, and people watching in the chaise on the wraparound porch, and my husband and I enjoyed strolling through... More

We picked 16 Beach St because of its high rating on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. It is perfectly located right in the middle of Ogunquit village, walkable to lots of good places to eat, a five minute walk to the spectacular beach (it's hard to find a place closer -- and Dick and Linda provide towels, umbrellas and... We have become regulars with Dick and Linda at Beach Street, and cannot say enough positive things about them and the business they run. The rooms are spotless and the beds extremely comfortable. Linda prepares a gourmet breakfast for all guests and provides snacks and drinks in the afternoon. A trip to The beach is a 10 minute walk, with... More

If you have never tried a B&B, 16 Beach Street is the perfect home away from home. When my boyfriend and I arrived, Linda and Dick were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome immediately. Linda makes the most amazing breakfasts and afternoon treats (raspberry squares and cookies with lemonade!), and Dick offers great suggestions for restaurants and entertainment.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
16 Beach Street is a classic three-story New Englander style home built in 1920 by the Perkins family. We are a small intimate Inn with five bedrooms. Because of its close proximity to the Beach, the Inn is decorated like a beach house in bright cheery colors. The location of the Inn is ideal. The trolley stops right outside the door and we are within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, the beach and the Marginal Way. Full breakfasts are served every morning along with our signature home-made scones. ... more   less
