We had a lovely stay in Chadwick. It was just what I expected a B&B to be - cosy, warm and hospital host and finished with an excellent homecooked hot breakfast before we leave. We would definately recommend anyone wishing for a quiet getaway to stay at Chadwick. Scott and Adam were wonderful hosts.

The Chadwick was a beautiful, clean, and convenient stay in Portland Maine. We are only sad that we weren't able to spend our entire trip there. Breakfast was delicious (Pumpkin spiced waffles with creme anglais, fresh fruit, and tasty sausage.) We'll be back when we make it to Portland again.

Every time we go to Portland we stay at the Chadwick. It is quiet, pleasant and meets all our needs. Wonderfully decorated with architectural charm not to mention the exceptional service and yummy breakfast. Always feel so pampered.

From the first contact with Scott to our departure, everything was enjoyable. Nice location among beautiful private residences, a quick walk to fine dining, beautiful outdoors sitting areas, and warm comfortable indoor environment. Breakfasts were very well prepared and a nice variety, always very tasty. Enjoyed the nice touches like complimentary waters, snacks, and chocolates available. Room 2 was nicely... More

We loved everything about it! Adam was a fantastic host, and an amazing chef. Our room couldn't have been more perfect, especially with the small deck with chairs. Bed was the most comfy I've slept on. beautifully decorated and clean. And the outside was amazing too! with a hammock and fountain it was perfectly relaxing. Very close to downtown Portland.... The Chadwick is a hidden gem of a B & B in a lovely neighborhood in Portland. We visited in perfect spring weather and enjoyed the gardens and flowering trees from our private balcony. The house is elegant and comfortable, a restored Victorian with modern conveniences. Scott is a gracious innkeeper,a fabulous cook, and a great resource for city restaurants... More

My wife and I just finished a weekend @ The Chadwick. I cannot say enough about how much we recommend staying here. From the moment we booked through the moment we left, the folks made sure we had what we needed. The staff is attentive, but by no means overbearing. They do the best job I've ever encountered making sure... More

What a gem! We stayed at the Chadwick B&B for 3 nights on our first trip to Portland and we were not disappointed. Adam & Scot, the innkeepers, made us feel right at home, directed us to the best restaurants and served up breakfasts fit for royalty. It was the perfect getaway! I would highly recommend you stop by and... More
