Very good location, just a 2-5 minute walk from the old port, sights, shops and restaurants.John and Nancy were wonderful hosts with very good knowledge of the area and were very helpful. We had the Museum room which was spacious nicely furnished and a very comfortable bed! Breakfasts were very good - you won't want lunch! We are early risers... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Park Spring. We stayed in the Skylight Room. It was a beautiful, comfortable room with a newly remodeled bathroom. The entire Inn is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We enjoyed meeting new people while savoring an absolutely delicious breakfast each morning. On a recent visit to Portland, ME we stayed at the Inn at Park Spring for one night. The inn is located walked distance to the Old Port and Waterfront. Parking was also included right around the corner. The inn-keeper, John, was very welcoming, hospitable and personable. We stayed in the Skylight room on the 3rd floor which had its... More

The Inn at Park Spring exceeded our expectations. We've stayed in several b&bs around the country, and this is one of the best so far. Breakfast: remarkable. The food is delicious, fresh, elaborate, and served at a beautifully set table. Guests have a choice between two breakfast meals, but I doubt you can go wrong. Rooms: exceptionally clean. spectacularly clean.... More

I was in Portland for a business trip, didn't want to stay by the airport, and the "major" hotels in downtown Portland were very expensive. Rates here were listed as very reasonable, it put me right downtown, and it looked like a nice place so I went for it. I stay at chain hotels almost every week, but this was... More

We stayed with John & Nancy for one night on a trip up the Maine coast. The inn is in a gorgeous older house on a picturesque corner within walking distance of nearly all of the city (the Old Port is maybe a 10-15 minute walk). The rooms and common spaces were cute and clean and Nancy's breakfast was absolutely... More

Not only was the Inn a lovely place to stay, but when you factor in that John and Nancy serve up gourmet breakfasts that are easily worth $20 or more, the room is a great value. My husband and I intended to stay only one night on our way up the coast but we enjoyed both Portland and the Inn... More

The Inn at Park Spring is in a perfect location to enjoy Portland without having to drive any where. Nancy and John are so kind, considerate, and great hosts. The breakfast were delicious and the rooms were high quality. My husband and I stayed in the Spring Room which had a queen bed, desk, two chairs, and private bathroom. We... More

What a charming, sweet little place to rest your head, have a delightful breakfast and be in close proximity to Portland's Main attreactions. Within walking distance to Congress/State Streets. The Inn itself steeped in New England charm. John the host SUPER accomodating and friendly!
