We were 5 guys who were going fly fishing for two days at the end of December. We were unable to get a cabin as we had booked really late and ended up with a two bedroom "suite". One bedroom had two double beds and the other had a kichenette with a double bed. In between the rooms was a... More

A beautiful spot. Our room's back door opened right out to the grass banks of Rangeley Lake. The town has some excellent cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable and well equipped. You can sit on the lakeside porch and watch the float-planes land and takeoff from their base next door!

Great cabins with awesome lake side views. Free kayaks and canoes to explore the lake. Ducks keep us entertained. Plenty of wood for camp fire and smores. Not the cleanest but was exactly what I expected of a mountain cabin.

I went with a group of friends and was really pleased how fantastic the location of this place was-right on the lake and what a view! The cabin had everything we needed and roomie. The owners were wonderful and very welcoming. If you have a group and want to stay in a friendly-comfortable place-this is it!

Liked the location, beautiful scenery, nice little town, people are very friendly. The cottage my friends and I acquired while there was sufficent/ clean for the numbers, very rustic... loved the theme, however, the was an odor of urine. That being said, there are memos on the walls stating, towels are for human use only, so, assuming animals stay with... More

My husband and I have stayed here several times (3) in the cottages. We enjoy the solitude, beautiful scenery and being able to eat-in or eat -out as we please. Moose sightings are indeed and added benefit. Watching the sea planes and being able to use the kayaks make for a great vacation. I'd like to stay a week but... More

We stayed here while we were passing through Rangeley in June. The view from the rooms is gorgeous, right on the shore of the lake, with free access to kayaks etc for the guests. We got the special room with a likeness of Jesus in the woodgrain of the bathroom door. We decided it more closely resembled Chewbacca, but each... More

I recently stayed at Town and Lake Motel and had a very unpleasant experience. On our first night we had no hot water. The onwer said he would call a plumber. The next morning a plumber came to address the problem. Later in the day we again had no hot water. Upon reporting it to the owner again he became... More

I stayed for one night while passing through. This is an old-fashioned motel but well-maintained, clean and very comfortable, and the lakeside location is a great advantage. I shall return if in the area again.

Went to main office to check in and spent 10 minutes being barked at by the owners dog, no one else was there. No problem, he was busy. However, there was no excuse for the bathroom! The tiny bathroom had a shower stall that was covered in black mold all on the bottom. It was totally disgusting. We had one... More
