Looking for great views of the pond, hornet infested beach, cockroaches, dirty facilities that arent functional and cranky staff?? This is the spot for you!! Will never book here again - AVOID. Even the bathrooms aren’t clean. If they spent more than 2 cents on TP maybe it wouldn’t be shredded everywhere. Kids lost many dollars on vending, arcade and juke box - but of course they waive all liability.

Sites are wide and easy to get in and out. They accept dogs. Park is convenient to Portland. A decent walk with dogs around the park. The negative is large rv area is an open field with no shade. Not really a problem since we had air conditioning. Staff were friendly. I’d go back.

The good: it’s close not only to Portland but to Old Orchard beach. The sites are nice and wide. Rates are reasonable. The concerns: large RV parking is in an open field with no shade. Luckily we brought pop up tents since our awnings still couldn’t give full shade. Bathrooms could use some updating but they were clean and the rates reflect such so not a complaint. I’d go back.

I stayed here three nights while visiting Portland and the surrounding area. Pretty good location, 20 minutes to Cape Elizibeth, 35 to Kennebunkport, 15 to downtown Portland. They have a swimming lake there.

Some ridiculous reviews here criticizing the cost ($59/night was too much for someone??) and the fact the owners can't control planes flying overhead (come on.) Super friendly staff, easy check in, nice RV spot/hookup and a quiet site. Recommended.

Although I picked August 2021, we were seasonal campers here for 3 years. I picked August 2021 since this was the month I decided to leave. All the other campers were wonderful, great people we consider friends. We had 3 major issues in our deciding factor to leave. First, a giant branch fell off a tree and wrecked the hood of my car and windshield. You may say, well you are in the woods. However we had requested said tree be trimmed since we had falling branches on the camper. Ownership did not acknowledge our request or sympathize with the destruction of my car (yes, I had to pay to fix my car) Second, this tree essentially is dead and housed carpenter ants. Big, nasty flying ones that infested our camper. And the breaking point, bees! The sight was infested with bees beginning in August. We could not get into our cars since they were covered! I brought this to the attention of the owners, and they said there is nothing they can do (to be fair, they gave me a can of bug spray, ha!). I pay to be able to sit outside and enjoy a nice day, but for over a month, I was unable to do so. So we decided to leave a month early to a new camp which, a bit more expensive, I am outside enjoying a beautiful September morning! The seasonal folks are fantastic! But ownership is lack luster and will not take issues seriously.

The speed limit of 5 mph is bad enough but to have 1-2 idiots call the office to report a white truck "FLYING" through the campground is enough to never stay here!!! 10 mph is far more reasonable. With the dirt / gravel roads with potholes it is impossible to fly through this campground. They actually stopped me at the gate. When I said there was no way I was flying and at most going 8 mph the hourly employee then said I was exceeding the speed limit by over 20%! Seriously! Guaranteed no one that works there "always" goes the posted speed limits on the city, county and state roads. If I knew who Gladys was I would punch them in the mouth for being a dumb @#%!. Far more other good choices to select!

Stayed here a few nights last week with a friend and a pop-up trailer. What I was quoted over the phone and what the bill came out to were not on the same page. Be aware of ALL costs they charge you. Place is clean, and the pond is pristine. Showers were a bit rough with very little pressure. Wifi was a joke. Why even say you have it when my laptop and the TV were completely useless. I understand I don't go camping to use electronics, but it was raining, and this is a service that is offered, but completely unusable. Careful of your speed here....some are a bit grouchy

We stayed here for a month and really enjoyed ourselves. We had a good sized site which was pretty level. Th staff is very friendly and helpful. They have live music on Fridays & Saturdays, but never too loud and quiet by 10 pm. Also, breakfast is available on Sunday mornings. We would definitely stay here again.

Only 20 minutes from the Portland Waterfront, this lovely campground was a treat! All the usual stuff- laundry, showers, camp store. Plus nice picnic areas, a small swimming area and dog park. Beautiful in the morning!
