There is nothing fancy about the Towne. But if you are looking at Skowhegan, you will find that there are not alot of choices. This was an overnight stop to Greenville, after arriving in Portland. We stayed here overnight on our way from New Brunswick to Quebec. This was my first choice in Skowhegan after reading reviews on tripadvisor. We were able to get a double in mid September for $100. Not much choice in this neck of the woods,but the Towne was good.Very clean, smelled good.Beds a bit hard.Breakfast was great-everything fresh.Front desk people friendly.Would stay again.The toiletries in bathroom were great - high quality.Windows will open if you want but air conditioner worked well.
