I made my reservations at this hotel on short notice; I was booked elsewhere but realized this would be more conveniently located to where I needed to be. Pros: I was very impressed with the room. Really, a suite with a full living room, separate bedroom, decent sized bathroom. Last renovated in 2007, it's holding up well. There is complimentary... More

My husband accompanied me on a business trip to Bethesda and we spent 4 nights at the Residence Inn. The location was great - right in downtown Bethesda and walking distance to good restaurants and shops. The metro was very close by and we easily could have taken it when we went into Washington. It is an all suite hotel... More

Bethesda Residence Inn was already a comfortable hotel and good value but recent updates/renovations to the lobby and dining area/gatehouse have made it even better. I stayed here on TDY for 10 days last year and enjoyed my stay but on a return visit, I was pleased to see: modern lobby with updated furniture and carpets, expanded breakfast buffet and... More

Lovely, modern, clean, comfortable RI accomodations. Great view from rooftop pool. Reliable good-quality breakfasts & suppers. Valet parking only option  ($20). Convenient walking location -- numerous eateries (outdoor seating) & shops. (Pleasurable after dinner stroll.) Two computers & printer in seated business area. Everything you expect from a quality RI -- doesn't disappoint. More

I wound up using Marriott points and was upgraded to a two bedroom suite. Room was really nice, and the lady at the desk (Candice), was a fill in, but she was very, very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to restaurants and bars. The valet people were nice too. In the morning, the normal staff did not say... More

Excellent location, Metro about two blocks away. Walking distance to many good restaurants and close to excellent walking/running trail. Hotel was very nice, clean and modern room. Arrived early morning and was allowed to check-in and also directed to breakfast which was very nice. Breakfast each morning was good. They tried to mix it up each morning but there was... More

We had a very good experience at this hotel. We stayed there for a long weekend in late March with our toddler son in a one bedroom suite. It was a nice-sized room, clean, well-appointed with room to spread out. It was very helpful to have a nice kitchen, and everything worked well. Breakfast was good and very convenient. The... More

The free breakfast offers a lot of choices and the food is usually very good. Conference rooms are larger than any others in Bethesda, I believe. There is a fully-stocked kitchenette (minus food, of course). It's not just a microwave and fridge. It's very comfortable for extended business stays. TV is old school (not 1080-anything). I think they've had enough... More

Thank you for writing a response to your stay during your meeting here at our hotel. Our elevators are all brand new and just finished a million dollar renovation and upgrade. Unfortunatly during your stay several guests were horsing around on one of the elevators after a long night out and jammed one of the doors open. While we were... More

We wanted to be able to cook, so I booked a room with an oven. The first room had an oven but the bedroom window did not close. They moved us to the penthouse, which is nothing but the 13th floor, no oven. When I asked they told me that only 2 bedrooms had ovens. The 2nd room the bathroom... More

This hotel is a nice choice for staying in the D.C. area, for both the business and leisure traveler, on a long-term or short-term basis. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was nicely equipped with a small kitchen (stove top, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator), a good-sized living room (with a work desk, dining room table, TV, and couch), and...
