The folks who run this hotel are very friendly, there is free wifi and the bathrooms and rooms were relatively clean (in so much as ancient fixtures can be clean). The grounds are very lovely, I liked watching the geese and ducks play around while enjoying the free continental breakfast. The rooms could stand a revamp- I did not sleep very well. They are pet friendly and affordable.

This was the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at the Earl. As usual, the rooms were immaculate and well appointed. The housekeeping is more than excellent. The owners are cordial and frendly. The grounds are beautiful and the ducks very frindly!

While the comments about the age of the motel are true, our room was comfortable enough and the place is very well situated on 6A. What a charming find! This small hotel harkens back to the motor hotel days, but has been totally remodeled.
