My wife and I had the pleasure to pick Sippewissett Campground by random chance whilst looking for a quiet spot along the southern Cape. Luck was definitely on our side because we couldn't be happier with our choice! Everyone (including the other seasonal campers) welcomed us with our eleven week-old baby. We were worried that our little girl would bother... More

Excellent family campground. Clean showers and bathrooms, play area for kids. Right on the shining sea bikeway. Sites are good size, power available. Friendly and helpful staff. This is our 3rd outting to this Campground.

My boyfriend and I have just spent 5 nights here. I feel torn about how I should write this review as the campground owners were very friendly and very helpful. The grounds are lovely, the bathrooms are pretty clean and the facilities such as the laundry work well. However there was a large problem. We booked 5 nights in a... More

A peaceful feeling comes over you as soon as you get out of your car. The people that own and operate the campground are salt of the earth people and so is everyone else that works there. We stayed for five nights. The staff is very helpful, campground is very quiet, but busy enough that kids feel at home, close... More

The pros: This campground is in a fabulous location! We were able to ride our bikes to the MV ferry (about 5.24 miles, not bad on a bike). When we showed up the woman in the store was very helpful. She checked us in, gave us maps and ticket info about the MV ferry. They sell tickets right there, which... More

The positives included the cleanest campground bathrooms I've seen and a very quiet camp after 10pm (really, it seemed like everyone went to bed at 10pm - hardly any noise from campers). Some setbacks were the size of the site (we had two tents, and between those, the fire ring, the picnic table, and the car, there wasn't any extra... More

First, our family uses a campground for sleeping, cooking, and bathrooms. We don't hang around there or look for activities, we have those planned elsewhere. So, I can't say if there are fun things to do there. We use a large tent and cook on site and ride bikes all the time. The bike path is absolutely awesome and it... More

I've been to this campground many times over the years- but this year was the best because they just completed the "Shining Sea Bike Trail" which connects right from a ramp at the back of the campground. This is one of the nicest bike trails (11.5 miles) I've ever seen. The campground is clean, affordable, friendly, and yes, as some... More

I, personally will never come here again. But to be fair, I will list out the pros and cons. Pros: -Friendly family-owned staff. -Within a short distance from many beaches along the Cape. -Closest to the ferry that take you to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. -Variety of options to choose from (Cabins, Tipis, Trailers, Tent). -Nice bike trail. -Bathroom/Showers are...
