my husband and I spent my birthday and new years eve weekend at the Inn at Babson Court...we were greeted with friendliest atmosphere of Paul and his friend. Paul is a wonderful inn keeper/owner. We spent time with him while he told us the story of the building and of the "muffin bunny", also known as Samuel. We stayed in... More

We really enjoyed this place, but it had it's quirks. Our suite had a dramatically high ceiling with old, exposed rafters, and a loft filled with kid-sized furniture which could be accessed by a spiral staircase. The ocean view was excellent, and included a direct view if the fisherman's monument. Unlike other reviewers I was not bothered by traffic sounds.... More

A comfortable, spacious, quirky but pleasant inn that offers a 'small B&B' experience but with ample room to spread out. Views of the harbor are available, if limited in some rooms. Location is ideal and offers a short walk to parks, restaurants, shopping and local neighborhoods. The owners are engaging and hospitable, with morning muffins and other sweet stuff delivered... My fiance and I stayed there in September of 2010. We ended up there quite by accident, only intending staying for one night, but ended up staying for three nights because it was so wonderful. The location could not be better as we were on a motorcycle, and were able to walk everywhere we needed to go for sightseeing and... More

My husband and I stayed here during St. Peter's Fiesta (June 24 - 27). This was actually our second stay. The last time was in 2009 and both times we stayed in The Samuel "Cut" Stevens Suite, which is a huge room with a spiral staircase going up to a second sleeping area. The inn is very quaint and uniquely... More

This was our first time vacationing in Gloucester & staying at Babson Court was the perfect place. The Innkeepers were very helpful with directions & the best places to eat plus thery were very, very funny! The suite was larger than we thought it would be & worked out great for a week stay. The mattress was extra firm but... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Inn, the owners are nice and very funny, our room was clean and comfortable. My bedroom was on the front and it was nosiy with traffic and the ocean but I managed to sleep comfortably. the bed was firm but clean and I was very satisfied. I would go again

there are a lot of good things. The owners are nice, the location is nice. The muffins are nice. The price was reasonable. The bad parts: The mattress was like sleeping on a piece of wood. The traffic outside even late at night was really hard to get used to. We had to drive 16 miles to Walmart to buy... More

We had neglected to book a hotel prior to our trip. We arrived in town and inquired from a local as to where to stay. The Inn at Babson Court was suggested, we called to make sure a room was available (and within our price range), and then drove over to check out the room. We had never stayed at... More
