If you're a history buff or looking for something different this is a treasure. Of course the bathrooms aren't "ensuite" in an authentic 18th century house. This is the real thing, not just an oldish house gussied-up with motel features inside, as many B&Bs are. The proprietor is a bona fide historian too, so she really knows what she's talking... More

This is not a Bed and breakfast of the standards and norm that you would expect in New England, especially at the rate of $120 USD a night. The room we were assigned to was not fit for sleeping and the bathrooms are not private (meaning not in the guestroom). This 'historical house' was a dissapointment. I encourage the traveler... More
