We arrived to find a very clean, but cozy and a little outdated motel. The owners were exceptionally nice and friendly telling us where to grab the best bite to eat in town. There was only one plug that was grounded (3 pronged) in the bathroom so we had to charge phones, and ipads in the bathroom on the sink.... More

We stayed in the carriage room-attached to the garage. It was clean and amazingly quiet. We did park on the road, not a big deal and there were patrol cars parked further down so why wouldn't they be safe. The room had a good size bathroom with shower. The room had a twin and queen, the queen had a very comfy... More

The Blue Anchor was perfect for our family of six, with four young kids. We could walk from the motel to breakfast at Water Street Cafe, Plymouth rock and Mayflower II, Brewster Gardens, shops along Sandwich St, and a really nice playground right around the corner adjacent to Nathaniel Morton school. We stayed in #4, in the cottages out back.... More

The Blue Anchor is a quaint little house in Plymouth, in a residential neighborhood but easy walking distance to the main street shops and restaurants. We had room 7, a large room with refrigerator, sitting area, and a small private bath. Parking on the street was a breeze. I'd recommend the house rooms, as the 4 motel-type rooms in the... More

Just spent another excellent stay at the Blue Anchor, Plymouth. The Lodges at the rear provide homely and value for money. The owners make you very welcome and look after all your needs. The accommodation is well situated for visiting all the attractions of the area, even by foot. Would recommend and will visit again

Make sure you ask before registering if there is parking. If you rent the motel in the back (4 units), you can park there. But if you rent a room in the house, you park on the street. When we went there was something going on at the school and at the building next door and we went around the... More

We found the Blue Anchor to be clean, conveniently located, and affordable. It's a very small motel -- more like an inn without amenities. They offer 3 rooms on the second floor of an older house (2 with a shared bathroom) and 4 ground level units in the back. The decor is dated and a little quirky -- sort of... More

This motel is very reasonably priced and clean which was perfect for the one night we needed due to a wedding in the area. Many of our friends paid a lot more for less desirable accomodations. The motel is within walking distance of the downtown shops, restaurants, etc.

We were looking for a place to stay for one summer weekend in a coastal town and found the Blue Anchor Motel in Plymouth. The motel has four units in the back. We stayed in Unit 1, which was one room with a king-sized bed and a bathroom. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The... More

I like to give honest reviews so that you can get the most out of them. The Blue Anchor has its plus and minuses. My first comment would be that if you're looking for a place to just lay your head at night - say for 2 or 3 nights - then this place would do you just fine. My... More
