Recently remodeled, very fresh modern room with European flair. Great amenities with wet bar, mini fridge, and utensils; a nice surprise. Small room, yet comfortable. The only drawback was limited storage in room for large items such as suitcases. Coat hooks would a plus for wet raincoats. Room lights all had dimmers, so a cozy atmosphere was easy to create.... I've been visiting Provincetown for the last 18 years, trying out different places. Not anymore, it hit the spot for me. Clean, cool, smart, respectful. Yes, great location and views included. A standard for excellence, a "hidden" gem. Think of a watch, only Swiss Made.

This has been one of many returns to the Benchmark and once again had a wonderful stay ! Dan and Daniel are wonderful hosts and the freshly done over Room 5 was perfect !!! I highly recommend anyone visiting Provincetown this summer to check in at the Benchmark Inn - you will not be disappointed !

My husband and I went to p'town for the weekend from Boston and absolutely loved it. The owners are wonderful, they picked us up at the ferry and dropped us back off (even through its only about a four block walk), had tons of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and made themselves available at all times.... Every aspect of this inn was perfection. My room, the penthouse, was clean and beautifully decorated. Every amenity was supplied. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. My room had a porch with lovely water views. An amazing retreat from a hectic life. I highly recommend the Benchmark Inn and hope to return soon.

An impromptu visit to P-Town brought us to the Benchmark Inn. It was PERFECT...location, room, gardens, breakfast and host Daniel. We stayed in room 3 with the small outside deck...a great place to enjoy the afternoon & evening sun, plus a great view!
