Not sure why people here gave the old colony inn such a bad review - we stayed there 1 night, and were able to make reservations only 4 days in advance. (we're talking about Provincetown here - usually everything is booked weeks in advance in the summer) Either way - the room was adequate. AC worked well. the shower had... More

On the plus side, the motel is economical and has a much more flexible stay policy - ie. it does not require nightly minimums as most of the other lodging options do. It also has a pool - a rarity in PTown. Since we were only there 3 nights, we chose it b/c we didn't have alot of other options.... More

I stayed here a few years back and stayed here a few days ago. I live here on Cape Cod and get to Provincetown quite a bit. Normally We get a pet sitter but being that this overnight stay was last minute we looked into pet friendly options and the Cape Colony came up. The last time I stayed here... More

Given the reviews on TA, I expected the worst from the CCI. However, it really wasn't bad. We stayed here one-night during the 4th of July weekend as there was no minimum stay requirement and they accepted dogs. Even though the room was outdated, it was very clean. The bathroom was spotless, the sheets and pillows were fine, and the... More

The guy working on Memorial Day morning was less than desirable. He made us feel uncomfortable having free coffee and would not reciprocate when attempting to make small chat. He was unfriendly and seemed irritated when asked for assistance to locate a lost item. Its a shame since I've been a repeat customer for many years. His attitude and rudeness... More

This motel is truly disgusting. Rooms have a bad odor. Carpets are dirty. It's barely adequate. Compared to other lodging in Provincetown, the cost is reasonable. That would be the only reason to go there. More

This inn is absolutely disgusting. I've never encountered a filthier, more outdated, absolutely repulsive establishment. No respectable human being would willingly stay here. Not to mention the staff is extremely rude. Jack who is supposedly in charge is probably the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. We literally walked in and right back out. I couldn't imagine spending a night... More

We were forced to stay here as the original place overbooked. Since we didn't arrive until 4:00 we didn't have time to find another place. The original place sent our cc info to CCI which I am extremely upset about. We were charged the same exact amount as the riginal hotel, what a co-incidence!! The oiginal place was nice, this... This was one of the few places I could book in Provincetown in August with "only" six weeks notice. Reading some of the reviews here had me wary. Well, it was okay. Although I'm sure the room looked the same as it did in the 1960s, everything seemed to be clean. The AC worked, the plumbing worked, I didn't see... More

We decided last minute to go to Ptown for the weekend. This was one of the few places that had spots left so we booked here. We arrived and the girl at the counter was very nice, the grounds were decent as well. The room we were in was decent for the price and the location...Rooms in the area this... More
