My partner and I decided a last minute trip to P-town in October. We booked a room at the Boatslip. I read the reviews and it always came back to the great location. It was truly in the middle of it all. We were in walking distance to everything (i.e. restaurants, shopping...), which is nice because the streets aren't really... More

The room itself was basic but did have a fridge. This is not somewhere to go if you want luxury or peace and quiet. However, if you want somewhere fun and relaxed then it's fine. Make sure you book a room with a balcony and ocean view as the rooms with an inland view looked extremely depressing. The view makes... More

Being a straight, married couple we didn't visit the Boatslip for the reasons that most people do. Price was the deciding factor. We got a late deal costing $119 for our one night stay. We chose to stay here safe in the knowledge that there was no t dance that weekend, so it was actually a very quiet, relaxing stay.... More

I have been coming to Provincetown since I was 17 years old and I am 53. I still party and love the Boatslip. I was there Sept !7,this year for a wedding and the swim for life event was taking place too. The time spent there is wonderful. I will be staying again this Halloween, that's the last weekend before they... More

This place is well known throughout P'Town for only being interested in how much of your money they can pull out of your pocket. The money is the only reason they are there. When I'm traveling, there are times I want to "veg" out which is IMPOSSIBLE here. Since as one reviewer stated, I am not a horny 20 year... More

While I've never actually been an overnight guest of the Boatslip, I have gone to their bar and to their "famous" Tea Dance several times, and each time I keep asking myself "Why? How did I get talked into this?" The experience, a staple for many in the circuit lifestyle, and a mid-afternoon dance-fest for those who live to party,... More

I'll start with the positive - Great location. With that said, the famous teadance and deck facility is no more than a 5-10minute walk from most hotels in P-Town. Definitely places you want to visit, but no need to stay at this hotel. For the usd250 per night we paid, we should have gotten alot more. (to be honest, even... More

The Boatslip is a unique place in Provincetown. They host the famous T-Dance every night which is a giant party where you can meet tons of friendly people. Their pool is nice, but honestly I think the Crown and Anchor's pool is better. The rooms have been renovated and I think they look fantastic. Here's the part you need to... More

the hotel has great location and has the famous tea dance, great deck and nice staff for the bar and drinks service at the pool - BUT the rooms - oh the rooms .... kinda got stuck in 1965.... hot and cold water come and go... bathroom is the original from construction , including sink that has RUST in it...... Not only the noise of the tea dance from 4 to 7 PM. But noise/music on the deck from 9 to 7PM. You can hear better the music form your room than form the deck ! And you can hear every noise made by the rooms around you, even the other flor. All the noise means all the noise form... More
