Clean, basic lodging convenient to Providence, Boston, and Newport areas. Staff are trainees but generally enthusiastic. Rooms are basic but clean and serviceable. The value and the service is above board. The rooms are spacious and clean. The sitting area makes me not want to go back home. The interaction with the staff was wonderful. For a few dollars more it is well worth the upgrade to the suite.

Stayed there on a friend's recommendation. It was a great experince for the price. Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff, mostly J&W students were very attentive and accommodating. The bar and restaurant were very cozy and quiet. All in all, the hotel was a great bargain just minutes from downtown Providence!!!

Also had a very disappointing visit there during the blizzard last weekend. I was part of the scrapbook retreat and was not supposed to arrive until Friday.
