At first glance we were not sure of this property, mainly because you have to enter through Lorraine's clothing botique. But once we did we realized what a gem of a place to stay! Lorraine made us feel right at home and the accomodations were like having our own apartment, a very short walk to town, restaraunts and the ferry... More

We chose this B&B knowing that the room was above a dress shop. What we didn't know was that it was definitely NOT a real B&B. We travel often and choose to stay in B&B’s because the setting is usually wonderful. You do get a chance to meet lovely people, get a flavor of the area, and have a great... More

Savvy Travelers… Found this wonderful place online... www.lorraineparish.com... Read the great reviews and one not too great, that really took us aback! But, we are glad that “one” did not dissuade us from booking and staying at her B& B… Upon experiencing Lorainne's place I would say that the previous traveler with the "bad" experience must have been staying at... My mother and I just returned from a stay at Lorraine's and enjoyed her gracious hospitality to us. We were able to have the entire upstairs for our use and come and go as we please. She was eager to help and very pleasant to deal with. Was glad to have parking for our car. She is a great decorator!!!... More

Had the whole floor of house and outdoor space to enjoy coffee or cocktail. Lots of privacy, cozy feeling. Rooms were luxuriously decorated and lots of books to read in case of a rainy day. Convenient to walk to ferry, shopping and restaurants. I didn't miss my dogs because Lorraine had 2 poodles to love on. Also has great clothing... More
