This was my first stay at the Williams Inn which has a nice exterior presence. Inside decor is what I call "charming" and in staying with a period decor, yes wallpaper and flowery bedspread and tile bathroom. It is clean. My bed was comfortable. Did not use the amenities on my one day stay. Located in a very small town.... More

We generally stay in one of the motels (Williamstown Motel a favorite) to save money when visiting our son at college for his baseball and football games, but decided to go for a night in the Williams Inn as an upgrade. We were glad we did, as the two double-bedded room was very comfortable, the service excellent (they arranged for... More

If you have every been to Williamstown, you know that most everything about it is beautiful and classy. This hotel is just plain outdated. There is nothing wrong with it, per se, but it reminded me of the motel my grandparents used to stay in in the '70s. It was clean and serviceable, but for roughly $200/night, it should be... More

Thank you for your feed back about The Williams Inn. Had we known that the Wi-Fi was not working in your room, we could have corrected the problem. We have several routers throughout the inn and perhaps the one closest to your room needed to be reset. In the future, please let us know when something is not working properly.... More

I cannot for the life of me understand why the Williams Inn persists in being such a mediocre facility. It doesn't do the town justice. Once again, we stayed in August for the theater festival, and once again, we were surprised by the lack of effort to update the inn. I don't know if it's the changes in ownership over... More

We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant stay in August. The Williams Inn has been under our current owners since 1979. We have had no change in ownership since then. Our owners work very hard to improve the inn. We are constantly updating and renovating the rooms. We have a premier wing that was built within the... More

Comfy nicely decorated room.Helpful staff.Good restaurant on site with reasonably priced food. Not much going on in the area, the town is very small so not much choice of restaurants.Coach parties seem to stay or just eat in the hotel which makes the hotel seem alive. There is also a more casual bar type dining to be had in the hotel.

We stayed here two nights and the room was comfortable without being out of the ordinary. We ate in the town as the place was empty on our first night. However, the second night was much more populated. We had to fight our way through luggage from a newly arrived coach party on our return from an evening out. no... More

I stayed in Williams inn in Octas member of insight tours. Located next to Williams college(an ivy league college), the inn was in a safe & tranquil location. The rooms were charmingly decorated with floral wallpaper & floral bedsheets. The hotel owner was amiable. At the end of the trip, everyone received home-made cookies from the innkeeper's wife--so sweet of... More

The front desk staff appeared to straight out of a horror movie, it was hard to tell if they were actually alive. The room was very dated, 1970's decoration with bed spreads and un ironed sheets. The bed was falling apart and rattled everytime I moved. To operate the light in the bathroom you had to turn on a 5... More

We are sorry this guest did not contact the front desk for information about the light switch in the bathroom. Often when we have traveled elsewhere in the world, we have had to ask about the heat, the shower, and the electricity. Yes, there is a timer dial on the overhead heat lamp and it does go off as programmed.... More

Pleasant stay at a nice hotel. Good location for exploring the area and Mohawk Trail in the Berkshires. Clean and tidy room with a whirlpool bath. Staff were nice and the breakfast was good value. Fine place for a couple of nights stop.

This was an amazing experience,a hotel straight out of the ark.Although the front desk staff were charming and most helpful there was nothing they could do to make the rooms any better. We were two couples, two rooms. They were dated in bothdecor and facilities and smelled horribly of damp. The televisions were straight from the Andy Williams Show! I thought this... More
