Stayed 1 weekend night in mid-April at a VERY reasonable rate. Room was VERY clean and smelled clean too LOL Convenient to the ferry, dining and beach. Absolutely worth the buck and I would highly recommend.

We didn't actually plan to stay in Woods Hole, but a nor'easter docked the ferries to Martha's Vineyard, so we wanted to get as close as we could get when the ferries started running again. Sleepy Hollow fit the bill. Very convenient to the ferry terminal and good breakfast places, it worked well. The room was cozy and really spotless.... More

This is a very quaint, inviting property. A definite break from the usual " chain motels." Our plans included taking the early morning ferry over to Martha's Vineyard so we chose Sleepy Hollow motel because of close proximity to ferry area. It turns out we made a great decision. While our room and bathroom were small, it was more than... More

Was given the name of Sleepy Hollow by a friend who'd been going to Woods Hole/Martha's Vineyard for decades. Am I pleased she did. Welcoming is the feeling I had when pulling onto the sweet, 60's-like retro property. Arriving in deep summer season when, needless to say, many folks were wandering about this lovely part of the world, I saw... More

The Sleepy Hollow was very clean and affordable, along with having a great location within walking distance of Woods Hole center. It had a retro 60's feel to it, which we really loved. We also appreciated the very friendly staff, the comfortable beds, the refreshing pool, and the lovely flowers that were blooming everywhere ! We could tell that they... More

We have visited Woods Hole for many summers and the Sleep Hollow Motel has become our home away from home on the Cape. Its located just a short walk from Woods Hole village which has several terrific restaurants and cute shops. Its also very close to the ferry that goes to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. While the rooms are modest,... More

We loved the location, the accomodations, and the pool. The Sleepy Hollow is a short walk to Woods Hole center, the ferry boats to Martha's Vineyard, and Nobska Beach and the lighthouse. The walks are punctuated with views of water; little snippets between the trees, or full-views of: Little Harbor, Great Harbor, the Hole, Vineyard Sound, and the island of... More

We were in Woods Hole for a wedding in May. The rooms here were clean and the staff was friendly. We were waiting for a van to pick 10 of us up for the wedding and as the time passed we were still waiting. Suddenly, the owner, who had been cleaning the pool nearby, got his vehicle and insisted on... More

Extremely clean wonderful little spot tucked away near the road to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Wonderful location to explore the upper cape or even take a day trip over to the Vineyard. Furnishing that works well in the room. Felt like home immediately. Can't beat this place in Woods Hole.

We stayed at Sleepy Hollow between 27th and 28th September 2011. There aren't many places to stay in Woods Hole but the Sleepy Hollow Motor Inn is the cheapest room in town. It's located a 5 minute walk from the centre of Woods Hole. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was pleasant to sit by on... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Sleepy Hollow is a classic motor inn providing affordable accommodations in historic Woods Hole Village. Innkeeper/owner Sandee Parmelee spent years working at first class B&Bs before acquiring the Sleepy Hollow. Her experience is reflected in the effort that goes into providing clean, well-maintained rooms. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard, beaches, aquarium, museums, restaurants, and other attractions are within easy walking distance. We're also a great starting point for trips to other Cape Cod destinations. ... more   less
