When I stayed at the Erin Motel it was quite adequate. Roy let us use a freezer in the office area which was a nice gesture. Room was clean, and not noisy on the street side. We rented the Harbor House from Roy the next year.

We just stayed there. There are rooms on the lake side and rooms on the streetside. We were on the lakeside, which is really quite nice: we woke in the a.m to the sound of water lapping at the beach and of sea gulls. It' s not fancy that' s for sure, but it was fine for the price. I...

The location of the motel was nice, other than that I can't say anything good about it. No air conditioning, mold on the shower curtin, ants in the bathroom, musty smell, uncomfortable beds. To top ALL that off, my husband and I both suffered from BED BUGS bites!!!
Right next to the docks, this wonderful place is comfortable, and priced right. Also, it is only a "stumble" from the Shamrock. :) Love this place.
I brought three of my grandsons, ages 10, 11 and 12 to the island last July. The room is basic as the entire island tends to be. We slept like rocks with the windows open. I had brought some food in a cooler. There is a small fridge and microwave. It was nice cooking on the grill overlooking St. James...

This was a very basic room, however, it did have a king sized bed, small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Unfortunately, no air conditioning - but that seems to be common on the island. It is 1/2 block from the ferry and on the beach. This is not a luxury accomodation by any means, but I was not planning to...

We chose this simple, older, motel for its location right by the harbor and ferry dock. Its location cannot be beat. The view cannot be beat. And it is close to a couple of restaurants/bars/stores.
Our room was on the water side, and the large windows (2 of which open) are wonderful for viewing the bay, boats, ferry, and Whiskey...

Being by the water and on the beach was important to us and close to everything. The rooms are basic and served the purpose of a place to rest and shower. Simple rooms and it being a smaller place seemed homey. Close to restaurants/bars and next to the boat dock and watching the ferries come in and out. Walking was...

This is a total failure as a motel. The Only element going for it is that one is right on the beach in town right across from a bar. If you do not mind the noise and the wayward drunks or the 70's decor, beds and rummage sale furniture and can get past the rude person who may or may...
