Me and my family were very pleased with our stay. Mike and Betty were very nice people. If you do not mind big thrills then this is a very nice motel. Just a little mom and pop place. Also very reasonable.

I'm not one to complain but this deserves a fair warning. The website looks pretty decent but upon arrival found the motel is in need of massive updates and a facelift. i advise not to stay at this motel, the owner is awful to deal with, our room shower and toilet clogged/backed-up/flooded and no other rooms available, owner agreed to credit my account back and told me to get my stuff and get out. then never refunded the money and then when i called refused to refund without a notized letter.... We had a FANTASTIC stay at the North Country Inn, in Cheboygan! They were conveniently located! The rooms were extremely clean! The staff treated us like we were part of the family and the rates were very affordable!We highly recommend this motel to anybody planning to visit Cheboygan!
