"Attention to detail" describes the building, furnishings, decor, service and breakfasts. Jim and Kim are gracious, warm, helpful and welcoming. They described the many local attractioons and made arrangements for us at the theater and JIFFY Mix factory tour. The city is convenient and charming. It was a wonderfully relaxing and stimulating time for us. I love this place.

Spent a night of our anniversary weekend at the Chelsea House.........went to the Purple Rose for the 3:00 play performance, and of course The Common Grill for dinner.....this was our second stay here and it was very nice.....don't miss the Common Grill. Hope to be back next year!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. House was spot on perfect, and you can clearly see Jim's hard work put into every detail of renovation. Come to enjoy the luxury and comfort of this Victorian style home. Nothing says Pure Michigan like a stay here after a visit to Common Grille and the Purple Rose.

We hosted a holiday get-together in the Carriage House. Our friends had rooms in the main house. Perfect set up. Great breakfasts. The topper was the Jeff Daniels show at The Purple Rose. Jim Myles facitated our purchase of the tickets. Jim and Kim attended to all of our needs with great friendliness. We'll be back!
