Dave and Sandy are perfect hosts and quite friendly and welcoming. The Civil War themed home and rooms are very pleasant, quite clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and sitting around the table with the hosts and other guests was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend a stay.

We had a marvelous stay at the Stonewall Inn B&B. The rooms were clean, the location was outstanding. The hosts were kind enough to let us use their kayaks to paddle down the local pristine river, they even dropped us in and hauled us out. Would highly recommend this B&B. And what a great town: not a tourist trap.

We really enjoyed the stay at this beautiful civil war era themed bed and breakfast. David and Sandy were engaging and friendly hosts. They made our weekend stay very comfortable and fun. We really enjoyed using the presidential bathtub with the Elvira room. The yard is gorgeous and the town of Frankfort was more active than we expected. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Stonewall. Gracious and informative hosts combined with a clean room, great bath tub, beautiful grounds and wonderful breakfasts made everything special. The civil war artifacts and library were a pleasant surprise, too.

Stonewall Inn is a fabulous B and B in Frankfort, MI. It is located in easy walking distance of the bay and Lake Michigan. Dave and Sandy are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was great. Dave drove us to a location on the Betsie River so that we could kayak without having to think about spotting a car or paying a livery.... More
