My husband and I made a spur of the moment trip to the west side of Michigan to check out the Hart-Montague Bike trail at the end of April. We lucked out. We made another trip up to Oceana County and as usual, Don and Dar did not dissapoint us with our stay. They went above and beyond to accomidate us. The hotel and rooms were immaculate just as we had remembered from our last stay. Fresh linens, comfortable beds, and friendly staff make this a wonderful stay!

The owners at this small, affordable hotel make the stay very enjoyable. They make you feel very comfortable and like you have friends away from home. The facility is extremely clean, newly redecorated and in a very convenient location near the freeway. It's so close to the wonderful Silver Lake Dunes, too!

Stayed at American Host Inn for a wedding. The owners were very polite. They won me over with their friendly reminder call the day of the booking. Then continued to woo me with their welcoming smiles and politeness with patrons. Followed the stay with a thank you card. Very hospitable and cannot wait to visit again!

Our overnight stay was great! The beds were very comfortable, nice bedding, clean room. Our room had a recliner in it which made it even better since my husband sleeps in his recliner at home.
