This is by far one of the best places I have ever been! The waves are empty and uncrowded, and there's such a good variety within walking / boating distance from the camp. When you're not surfing, you can lay in the hammock and watch people surf the point right out front. If you book a beachfront room, you can... More

This was a great place to get some down time. I do not think I have every been to a more laid back place in my life. The staff was friendly and easy going and the food wasn't bad, not five star or anything, but I never had any complaints about what I ate. The view was amazing and the... More

Lots of good things to say about this place. We're both surfers & really enjoyed it here. Can imagine it might get boring for non-surfers though. The location is amazing, it's so close to the ocean! It's awesome being able to watch the surf while you're having breakfast or sitting in a rocking chair or lying in a hammock. It's... More

A great surf camp with a super chill vibe. The owner at the time, Pablo, was and great host and always there to make sure the camp was running smooth and the clients were taken care of. Andy, who worked there also, was always making sure the clients had what they needed/wanted. The rooms had all you need and the staff... More

Me and my girl friend had just done a 3 day surf trip up north so when we arrived at Miramar we were looking for relaxation. I've been living in Nicaragua for two years and I have to say, I love all the little touches this surf camp offers. There are bins for recycling, artwork and several comfy areas to... More

I was on a surf trip in northern nica with one of my good mates and we came across miramar surf camp when searching for sandino. The original owner was in the middle of passing over ownership to the current owners so ti was a bit confusing at first who was in charge. Through out our stay we were looked... More

I love going on surf trips and finding new destinations to go. Most of the time I do not have enough vacation days to get to explore and surf at the same time. From renting a car to finding a room and then finding the surf breaks, fighting the crowd and getting food it is sometimes frustrating. When I decided... More

This is one of my several quick in & out surf trips to Nica & Costa, so here goes: Pre-trip Communication – Outstanding, direct with the owner Pablo. Airport pickup - Excellent, on time, tied boards on roof (you'd be surprised how many try to get you to ride with your board inside the vehicle). Since I do the mid-night... More

The go to spot for surfing and all things Nica. The Miramar crew put together a great value in the best location for waves in their area. When the swell and conditions come together you won't be disappointed . Lots of options for grest waves, from the pros to beginner surfers . I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's like family... More
