An excellently furnished and equipped hotel overlooking, almost overhanging, the Dordogne river. The owners are very kind and helpful and the food magnificent. The rooms are well-furnished, comfortable and spacious. Dinner on the terrace is a 'must' if possible. More

Stayed overnight in early August. We had a room with a view of the Dordogne river, which was what we had requested. I agree the loo is in a very cramped separate area which had no ventilation. From the bridge over the wide Dordogne you look up and see this grey, feudal-looking edifice and perhaps you think fleetingly of Elsinore.
