If you want to experience "southern" hospitality, this is the place to stay. The whole atmosphere is one of relaxation and comfort. The rooms are even more inviting than as presented on the web site. You won't find a Hilton or Marriott in the area but La Belle Bed and Breakfast offers you the same standards and amenities. If you... More

Doug and Robin are great! I will be back again. Second time I've stayed here! Beautiful rooms. I stayed in the Lumbermans room. Interesting history. R.K. Riblet owned the home! Lots of cute little shops in the area.

My husband and I were getting married in Newaygo because both of our families are from there, so we decided to try a bed and breakfast instead of a hotel room. It was a excellent choice. We stayed in the Lumberman's Room, the bed was super comfortable and the whole feel of the house was welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast with... More

We spent a weekend here just on a get out of town trip. The accomodations were excellent. Very clean and the bed was perfect. The innkeepers were very friendly and we spent a lot of time talking about ghosts in old homes. None here though. The small towns in the surrounding area were fun to explore and the antique hunting... More

We stayed here recently for a family reunion. My wife's cousin owns a lake house nearby, but its not big enough for the entire extended family, so about 10 of us stayed here in 4 rooms. The inn is very nice. We've stayed in many B&B's around the world, and while it wasn't as good as some, considering the price... More

We had a lovely, fresh and clean room. Breakfast was delicious. We loved sitting on the veranda. looking at the beautiful cherry blossoms. Our linens were top of the line and the bed was extremely comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. They seem to have a bit of a problem deciding on a decorating theme, but some... This was the only Bed and Breakfast that I ever stayed at and I would definately go back in a heartbeat. La Belle de la Riviere was absolutely beautiful and in a great location as it is in walking distance from some shopping and restaurants. It also within walking distance from the Muskegon River which we decided to do a... More

Well...this place had its pros and cons. First of all, I didn't expect it to be on a busy highway (M37), which can be disappointing if you're expecting a peaceful experience. The traffic noise can be annoying. It does die down late at night. Second, don't expect the 'innkeeper' to be the owner. It seems to be a case of... More
