We were going to stay at Casino for Monday night and Tuesday night. St Ignace was supposed to get a lot of snow, So we left a day early. Could not get a room at the casino, So I booked at Days Inn. The hallway smelled very musty. I thought we were in for it , But we opened the...

Arrived on a gloomy, grey September day but greeted in reception with a big smile and friendly welcome by the guy on reception. Check in was efficient and comprehensive with information about the local area, ferries, eating places etc offered without being asked. Discount coupons for the Mackinac ferry and the local casino given. Plenty of parking available.
Had emailed...

This is a good choice for visiting Mackinac Island. The hotel rooms do face the lake. The interior halls are dark and the rooms could use a makeover. The bathroom looked as though it had recently been updated.......but the used washcloth hanging over the shower rod didn't inspire my opinion of the housekeeping services. Breakfast was okay. The staff was...

This had the most awesome views from our room (3rd floor, lakefront side) Watched the sunset and the sunrise (took tons of pictures!) Pool area was very clean. The breakfast was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in and the least expensive for our annual week "Fall tour of colors". Room was quiet and mostly clean, with a...

The weather was rainy during our late September stay, but that was the only bad thing about it. The hotel is obviously older, but updated and clean. The room was very large and all of them have balconeys. It is right on the lake with a terrific view of Mackinac Island. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!! We look...

We stayed at the Days Inn Lakefront in St.Ignace in September and had a wonderful stay! The view was outstanding from our room. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs each day. The breakfast in the morning was alot more then just your average cereal and donut type. It had much to...

By mostly OK, I mean the Inn was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was good, if you could get to the food. The "dining area" is a converted room on the 2nd floor, and the line for bagels, muffins, waffles, etc. stretched out the door into the hallway. The orange juice was way too sweet, and there...

First of all, the lakefront view from our room was awesome. My boyfriend and I had a king room with a jacuzzi on the bottom floor. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a door that led to our own porch with 2 chairs overlooking Lake Huron. We even walked down to the shore which we found a fire...

One of the nicest Days Inn properties in a small town I've ever stayed in. Every room, as far as I could see, faced east and Lake Huron (blackout drapes, no worries) and either a walk-out or a balcony. I took beautiful pictures of the full moon rising, and a gorgeous sunrise. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Vanity is small...
