Love the city and this hotel was perfect for our mini vacation - good value and friendly staff. I will definitely return next year. I'm usually really critical of cleanliness and this hotel was very clean.

The Hampton Inn is conveniently located, clean and friendly. The breakfast is very good, with a nice variety of choices. We were in an end room across from the stairwell which was extremely noisy through the night. If we had been farther down the hall I'm guessing our stay would have been much nicer.

The Hampton Inn has a nice formula - very comfortable beds, a good breakfast included with the room rate, a pool, and well-trained, pleasant staff. The Traverse City hotel follows the formula. Although the hotel is not on the beach, its location is convenient and Grand Traverse Bay is just across the street.

Staff was very polite, room was modern and well furnished. But the floor was dirty and they didn't inform us when making the reservation just 3 days proir at this location that the pool/hot tub were closed for construction and that we had to drive down to the neighboring hotel to use there pool/hot tub. Very disappointing.
