We visited Kavanaugh's because our son gave us a coupon "gift" for the holidays. When we went it was cold and very very snowy. We spent 3 nights a Kavanaugh's Resort in the Pool Suites. The Suites are good sized, big bedroom with 2 Queen beds, huge bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and we brought all our food from home. There is so much we enjoyed at the Kavanaugh's Resort. The grounds are maintained at a super high level. The staff was very helpful and the rental units are very very clean. The beach areas are great and they have a good variety of activities and rentals, (including pontoons) at the resort. The resort is very quiet and very relaxing.... More

I would like to say that the resort is as clean as it could be. I was telling my son today,(7 year old) that the grass was beautiful. So soft and well taken care of. It is about a 45-50 cottage or duplex resort. This is the second time i have been there. And I think I will go back...... More

Our family just stayed four days at Kavanaugh's. It was the perfect trip for us. Our 3 and 5 year old kids had a great time: boating, biking, swimming, fishing, playing on the beach, and making a campfire every night.

Kavanaugh's is the best place to stay in central Minnesota, likely all of Minnesota. We've been coming back for 20 years and always get consistent superior service, and accomodations.
