This is a cute little family owned hotel. It was clean and quiet and we had a nice stay here. There was a free continental breakfast and the woman that owns the place was super sweet. It is a good, inexpensive place to stay.

The Allyndale is our regular go-to motel in Duluth. The current construction in the area on Hwy 35 (which may actually be finished by now) made getting to them a bit of a challenge. (the Cody Ave exit off N-bound 35 and entrance to S-bound 35 were both closed when we visited a week ago.) The hotel provides very clean,...

I"ve been staying at the Allyndale for over 10 years now. I get personal treatment, its homey as homey can be, they let me BBQ outside, I can bring my pet, the grounds are beautiful, they care for my concerns and the price is always reasonable.

I stayed at the Allyndale for a week from out of state while house hunting in the area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, comfortable and quiet the room was. One reason we chose this motel was because it is pet friendly. We did not experience any disruptive pets...

not clean, bed was un-made and bathroom had urine in the toilet! Very noisy as well, lots of dogs barking. Seems nice, but not once stayed. Its not that close to downtown as well. Overall not a great experience. When we complained about the room the management was kind of ho-hum about changing the room and we ended up with...
