Good value hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Nice amenities of bike storage, cute patio and place to build a fire. It is located at a busy intersection so traffic noises at all hours. About a mile from downtown Lanesboro. Bring check or cash as they don't take credit cards.
We stayed at the Guest Hus Motel over Labor Day weekend. We went mainly to enjoy the beautiful Root River Bike Trail. The Guest Hus Motel is very conviently located. You can ride your bikes to town or to the head of the bike trail. We stayed in the Pensylvania Dutch Room. We found the room to be very clean....

We stayed at the Guest Hus over Labor Day weekend and were quite pleased. While it looks like a B&B -- it's not. Instead, they have converted a nice old home into a no-frills motel. The reservation system is quaint - you have to mail them a check to hold your room, and you pay with a check or cash...
