For a downtown hotel, the price was unbeatable. I'm not sure if I got an exceptional deal or if their prices are that low all the time. I really enjoyed the variety of the breakfast. There was the option of a pre-cooked hot breakfast (eggs, hash browns and sausage or bacon). There was the usual pastries, bread, fruit and yogurt... More

The place is transitioning from a Comfort Suite to Aspen Suites. The place has been there for a long time, and shows its age. I was there on business for a convention at the Convention Center a quick 7 block walk away. The internet was fast enough to stream videos without a problem. The room was clean enough but had... I checked in on a Sunday afternoon, it was quick which was about the only good thing...probably because there's no one there. When I got to my room, I thought I was staring in a Miami Vice episode, The mirrors in the room and the bar area were left overs from the 70's, the comforter looked dirty, there were no... More

I would love to write a review that accurately represents the 2 hours wasted at this hotel, but I don't want to waste the time, after seeing that many people had the same experience. Got the room through Expedia for $95 a night (unfortunately i had to pay before finding out what hotel it was at, and then it was... More

Hotel definitely shows its age, but it's a good value. Large rooms, good location, and very good breakfast. Maintenance is lacking, but employees are very service oriented to help make your stay comfortable. Parking ramp is very cramped with very small spaces and tight driving lanes and they charge an extra $16 for parking when you arrive. Overall a good... More

Good value for a downtown location. We had several large cosmetic issues in our room - they didn't really change how the room functions, but certainly take away from the appearance. This hotel is changing to Aspen Suites on April 1. It is located on top of a parking garage, the hotel parking is below ground and VERY tight spaces.... More

Not that expensive for a hotel downtown. The room was clean and quite big. Breakfast was included and was good enough. Worth the price. More

This hotel was as good of a value for a downtown hotel that I have encountered in any city. The lobby was nice, the suite was spacious, the bed was nice and we were albe to walk to downtown attractions. Our room was a little rough around the edges (a dresser drawer was missing, the window seal had broken and... More

I followed suit and booked a room at this property because of friends staying at the same place. Usually I'm the one finding the hotel. I found the place worth every cent. The happy hour was one of the most reasonable cost wise that I have encountered in the Twin Cities in decades. The front desk staff were professional and... More

Breakfast is very good with chefs that cook delicious omelettes. Rooms are very nice though I find there is a lack of power plugs. Definitely worth going for the price. More
